Service Area, Delivery, Permissions & Relocation

Service Area (South Carolina Only): Services are provided exclusively within South Carolina. Primary counties include Spartanburg, Cherokee, Union, and Greenville. For other SC counties, custom booking must be inquired via email.

Delivery Fees: Spartanburg & Cherokee County are FREE, Union County $25, Greenville County $50.00 delivery fee. Delivery fees are non-negotiable and required.

Delivery-Only & Self-Towing Prohibition: All equipment is delivered, placed, leveled, and picked up exclusively by Rent Big Arrow. Client towing, moving, or self-transport is strictly prohibited.

Late Events & Overnight Pickup: If an event ends after 8:00 PM, equipment pickup will likely occur the following day. We will coordinate this with the renter. Clients agree to turn off the lights overnight if not being used for nighttime illumination.

On-Site Relocation Fee: Repositioning the sign on-site or moving to a secondary venue during an active rental incurs a flat $75.00 relocation fee. We recommend ensuring a proper, level location has been identified prior to our arrival to drop off the arrow.

Proper Permission & Local Ordinances: Customer agrees that the owners of the event location have given full permission to place the arrow on the property. The Client is solely responsible for verifying and obtaining any required local city/county sign permits, zoning approvals, or venue/HOA permissions prior to placement. Rent Big Arrow is not responsible for fines or forced removal due to local ordinance violations.

Delivery Timing & Traffic Disclaimer: While we strictly strive for punctual arrivals, Rent Big Arrow is not liable for minor delays resulting from unexpected traffic, road closures, or adverse transit conditions. To ensure your sign is fully set up and lit before your guests arrive, we strongly recommend booking the sign’s arrival time for at least 1 hour prior to the official start of your event.


Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

Strict No-Refund Policy: All rental payments are non-refundable. If you cancel your booking for any reason, no cash, credit card, or electronic refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Rescheduling & Date Transfers: If your event date is moved or canceled, we will attempt to accommodate a transfer to a new available date, but date availability is not guaranteed.

7-Day Rescheduling Window: To retain your rental credit, you must select and confirm a new rental date within 7 calendar days of notifying us of your cancellation/rescheduling request. Failure to choose a new date within 7 days will result in the total forfeiture of your rental fees.


Letter Inventory, Customization & Content Rules

Letter Inventory & Character Limitations: Our marquee letter set includes a fixed quantity of standard characters, numbers, and symbols (typically 300+ pieces featuring A–Z, 0–9, and standard punctuation marks like $, &, !, and .). It is the client’s responsibility to ensure their custom message fits within our available character set. If your desired message exceeds our character count or letter availability, no refunds or discounts will be issued, and you will be required to adjust or rephrase your wording.

Character Variance Disclaimer: Due to routine wear, handling, or historical inventory updates, minor variations or slight discrepancies in character counts may occur. Rent Big Arrow is not liable for minor character count variances, and we reserve the right to suggest minor wording adjustments if a specific letter or symbol is temporarily unavailable.

Prohibition of Offensive, Defamatory & Hateful Content: The display of profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, racist language, discriminatory remarks, or defamatory statements on the marquee sign is strictly prohibited. Rent Big Arrow reserves the right to immediately cancel the rental, remove the equipment without a refund, and deny service if prohibited content is displayed. The Client assumes full legal and financial responsibility for any message displayed on the sign during their rental period. In the event that illegal, defamatory, or hateful messaging results in civil lawsuits, regulatory fines, or law enforcement action, the Client acknowledges that they will receive no protection or indemnification from Rent Big Arrow or Arrowhead Design Company Inc. and may be subject to legal action, damages, and prosecution by affected parties, local authorities, or our legal team.


Power, Battery System & Extension Cord Guidelines

Battery System & Usage: The sign is powered by a dedicated battery system estimated to last up to 7 nights under standard nighttime use, or ~3 continuous days (72 hours) if left on 24/7. Clients are advised to turn lights off during daylight hours. Rent Big Arrow does not guarantee battery duration if left running continuously or exposed to extreme temperatures or overuse.

LiFePO4 Lithium Battery Safety: The marquee sign is powered by an internal LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery pack equipped with an integrated Battery Management System (BMS). Clients must not open the protective battery casing, touch terminal connectors, alter internal wiring, or connect unauthorized third-party charging units to the battery.

Backup Extension Cord Provided For 7 Day Rentals: While the sign runs entirely on an internal battery system and typically does not require external power, Rent Big Arrow provides a 200-foot commercial-grade heavy-duty extension cord on-site for emergency backup charging or direct power if the battery depletes. If the sign is placed more than 200 feet away from a standard 120V electrical outlet and requires backup power, the Client is responsible for providing any additional heavy-duty, outdoor-rated extension cords needed to bridge the distance.


Equipment Safety Warning & Limitation of Liability

WARNING: The marquee arrow sign trailer is a heavy industrial structural unit. Improper handling, climbing, moving, leaning against, or tampering with the unit poses severe risks of physical injury, crushing, or property damage. After setup, you assume responsibility for the equipment at your location.

The Trailer is GPS monitored 24/7 and has a theft alarm.
Assumption of Risk: Once the trailer is set up, leveled, and placed on-site by Rent Big Arrow, the Client assumes all responsibility and risk for the equipment, location, and surrounding area.
No Liability for Injury: Rent Big Arrow holds NO liability for bodily injury, physical harm, death, or property damage resulting from contact with, proximity to, or misuse of the equipment once placed on site.

Safety Guide Provided: Rent Big Arrow provides a digital or physical “Things to Know & Safety Guide” upon booking confirmation or on drop-off day. The Client is required to review and strictly adhere to all safety guidelines.

No Unauthorized Alterations: Clients and event guests must not climb, hitch, push, move, unhook, or alter the trailer or frame in any manner.

Parent Company Ownership & Complete Liability Indemnification: Rent Big Arrow is a brand owned and operated by Arrowhead Design Group (legally registered as Arrowhead Design Company Inc.). By booking equipment or services, the Client expressly acknowledges this ownership and agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Arrowhead Design Company Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, lawsuits, legal actions, local ordinance or permit violations, unwanted press/media exposure, health and safety liabilities, personal injury, or property damage arising out of or related to the rental, display, or placement of the marquee sign. Emergency, Accident & Theft Protocols

Medical Emergencies & Injuries: In the event of an emergency involving the trailer – including an accident, physical injury, or death – immediately contact local emergency authorities (call 911) before notifying our team.

Equipment Damage or Theft: If the sign or trailer is damaged, vandalized, or stolen during your rental period, you must notify Rent Big Arrow immediately. You are required to provide any available evidence, photos, security video footage, or witness information.

Mandatory Police Report: In cases of theft, hit-and-run, or criminal property damage, a formal police report will be filed immediately by Rent Big Arrow, and the client agrees to fully cooperate with law enforcement and insurance investigations.


Responsible Party & Mandatory Drop-Off Verification

Main Responsible Party & Authorized Representative: The individual signing this agreement is designated as the Primary Responsible Party and holds ultimate financial, legal, and operational responsibility for the marquee sign during the rental period.

Mandatory Presence & Driver’s License Verification: An authorized representative (which may be the Primary Responsible Party or a designated event representative) MUST be present at the time of drop-off. Upon delivery: The present representative must show a valid driver’s license that matches the name provided on the booking/authorization form.The representative will receive physical/digital safety materials and operational instructions from our team.

15-Minute Waiting Limit & Cancellation: If an authorized representative with matching identification is not on-site at the agreed drop-off time, Rent Big Arrow will wait a maximum of 15 minutes. If no representative arrives within this 15-minute grace period, the sign will not be dropped off, the rental will be canceled, and no refund or credit will be issued.


Payment, Credit Card on File & Damage Terms

Payment & Sales Tax: Full payment (rental fee, applicable delivery, and South Carolina sales tax) is required to confirm the reservation. Sales tax applies to the rental rate based on the delivery county rate (6%–8%).

Credit Card on File Authorization: The Client authorizes Rent Big Arrow to keep a payment card on file in lieu of a cash security deposit. The card on file will be charged following post-rental inspection if any of the following occur: Physical damage to the frame, lights, trailer, tires, or electrical components. Missing, broken, or unreturned marquee letters/numbers. Excessive dirt, paint, or unapproved modifications requiring specialized repair or restoration.

Client Authorization & Legal Agreement: By completing a booking, providing payment, or accepting delivery of the equipment, the Client acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to all terms, safety warnings, and liability waivers in this agreement.
